Is it Rain What You Want? by Subhranil Mahato

Is it Rain What You Want?

It’s been a year of troubled silence

Since anyone could be a friend.

Mannequin dreams and the fear in the end

Is killing me.

Can’t face it, shape it or die,

Resurrection starts crawling towards rotting hopes,

Is it the hell I want?

Hanging from scarred ropes of dark clouds,

Do I need to expect someone to hear my despair?

Deeper than my last breath

My panic.

Is it the rain what you want?

Then just close your eyes...
