CREPUSCULE by Purbasha Chatterjee

CREPUSCULE

Let it break, what’s fragile,

In the tempestuous waves of guile.

The sparkles of the smeared sky;

Assimilate splinters from the high.

There was pristine prayer in the air,

Eradicated my pearls in thy flair.

Saw through thy pellucid eyes;

Castles of sand are built on lies.

The morphing tints of the endless azure,

Fabricate memories on the precarious shore.

The simper on the lips knew;

A conglomerate dynasty, the impeccable tears can hue.
