They Believe The World Keeps Breathing

The constancy of a cornflower’s sweet scent.
Faith born on venerated robin’s wings.
The loyalty of creatures,
whether constructed with wing or leg,
their fealty to nature’s continuation.
Their belief that the world will keep spinning.
Let them teach us to presume the same.
