TEARDROPS by Debabrata Das

 TEARDROPS

For how long the teardrops

     Be shedding like springs

From the tip- corners of eyes

     Like eternal river flowing?

Deteriorated oh! I am though,

     Yet aspiring higher for

Aspiration unmountable.

Yet, let the drops be glowing

With God's Divine grace

For the waters be not of sympathy,

Nor of consideration-

Let it glow golden like sunlight

With golden radiance showering

    From God's golden crown

With the thrilling joys of recognition

    Of higher and nobler creation

Overlapping the whole world

     With awe-inspiration for the

World-wide across the globe

     Messaging the down- trodden

To rise, to wake and to strive ;

Never to look backward and, halt

Rather Strive, Strive and Strive

     With hard sweating toil and

Pearl like drops be gliding down

    With God's graceful blessings.
