Love not Wits

By Isioma Jemimah Okonicha

Far and beyond
You are not bought with a price
Heaven knows this

On earth you are tie
But you yearn for freedom
Deep down, shallow and up

Affection so strong
Passionate is not even the word
Merry is a version of you

After you're let go then comes nothing
You play at your own risk
On the best field and then forgone

Long and intimate
Beautiful!
You are much more than gold

The feeling is priceless
It is not ordinary pleasure and
not of this world
Far fetched, unequally Yorked

Bound together there's no loss
Unity is exempt
Your narrowest side cannot be compared

Nature's love so strong
But yet tender
Allow for a time that you do not know

Everything comes to you
You don't have to ask
So long as you keep up

Go on!
I promise to drink and eat from the remaining
version of time
Remembering that love and Wits can never be matched

They're not equal neither brothers
Love when you can
It's necessary for living and existence.
