It’s December. 

Remember years ago I lost you? 

I tried, gave my best but could not achieve you. 

I had to let you go because I became a traveller of different journey.

But you did not leave my hand. 

You were always by my side, gave me all the hope, happiness in my darkest nights. 

You gave me reasons to smile in midst of fear and tears. 

But good times too come to an end and the time of your arrival at last came. 

I tried, I tried to hold your hand for the last time but I could not… 

Because, I became a traveller of different journey. 

Now, though you are in the shelf, 

you are so far away. 

But whenever I look at you, I smile, 

whenever I remember you, I smile. 

I will be always with you and I know you too will. 

Because, you were just not a book. 

You were my first love, my first dream.
