A Lose  of Tradition will be of Ever

By Kruti Desai

Wake up early was a norm to decide the rest of the day

But I Could witnessed luster shine of the sky with orange bay

Excited being all to attend notorious pranks

Blessed with giggles & laud laughs to grants!

Kitchen holds sometimes gave me a chance

to learn Chapatti though a map like France

Curious inclusion in adultery discussions

Got satisfied of beaten by cushions

Grandma's routine almost spent on flour mill

whereas we children were wondering in foggy hill

Experiment many a times being anxious

Injured oft my fingers cause in search of captious!

Excuses get on rise; whenever forced me to complete lessons

but realized now, I got everything even in recession!

Later on, when it was a time to decide further risk of life

I was always accompanied of parents’ spirits so high!

Jump in now in a modern & leisure life

Forgot all my childhood many a time

rarely missing those charming Sublime

now of every stumble remind me those spacious incline!

From Dawn to Eve., days spent in hardships with puzzles

Learnt from each minute, i used to meet my mom with sweet cuddles

Relieved always after every cry

Lost all sympathy now for them, don't know Why?

Now I am with power to get anything

Regret my past occupied me nothing

Thought so, alternatively, finding myself

everywhere except in the hearts of loved reliance!

Literate I am, feel pride

is this a life of wrong decide?

Alone of pious relations & of guide

Come to understood homely reward & Love bind.

Is it me I asked a moment while

Expecting sometime to lose in those days fertile!

  1. Each line is woven from my inner expectations & guilt of being lost in technical realm of busy bees. The poem is the closest one to me, bring me to nostalgia and makes me much sensible every time I gone through the depth of meanings.
