Infecundity by Kolawole Mathew Ogundipe

 Infecundity

None of Adam’s descendants

Pray for it because, a yoke it is;

But inevitably exists

In the life of some,

Beelzebub apparel engulfed humanity

And made apparent not!

A vast milestone

On the way for reflection!

Spotting its slaves,

Melancholy occupies my eyes

And filled with tears, a tanker

Located in my heart!

A person without a picture,

           People say

Is like a snake that meandered

Through the rock without a mark!

Infecundity has various facets:

Has a child NOT,

Abhorred by her husband’s relatives!

Called her a witch in the community,

Infecundity 1;

Ranked HIGH out of the facets!

Has richness NO,

Not recognised in the society!

Waited not for him

In a family meeting,

In a religious meeting,

In a community meeting,

And if present, his opinions

         Neglected!

Neglected opinions and owner,

Owner advised to apply HIS

In his household!

Infecundity 2;

Makes victims become insects

In communal deliberations!

Has LOW IQ,

Low-classed by others

In the shop of learning,

Poke fun by mates!

Infecundity 3;

Victims

Exhibit poor academic feedback,

Infecundity 1, 2, 3 and others;

Calamities of the ORDER HIGHEST!
