A Tree of Life by Debabrata Das

 A TREE OF LIFE

O, I am like a scattered seed
Trampled down every now and then
Under soils for years together.
O, I am thrown away by circumstances ,
Devoid of light and life,
Heed - still unpaid, shattered
From inside of the heart and bloodily bleeding .
Had perished long ago, surely.
But, for the ray of hope of some firm belief-
Will surely rise again to be a big tree.
A tree of true life for life Universal itself
Impregnable, indomitable and ever benevolent for mankind-
Will bear all pains and hurts
For nobler causes to sacrifice
Saving the entire Universe from decaying
A Tree true to life and life of all blessings
An emblem of humanity and nobility.
