The Girl Child by Namrota Ghosh chowdhury

 The Girl Child

I am the fruit of love and passion,

I am the mixture of good and bad

I a combination of two genes

That passionate to mingle

I am the fruit of a mother’s nine months labour of enduring.

I am the right and I am the wrong

I am either extremely soft or rigid and desperate.

I am what you made me

I am the combination of good and bad, fair and black, I am the seed of love which is nourished with warmth of a mother’s love and fathers care.

I am the child with amalgamation of X and Y

I become a real identity with the talents of two beautiful soul

I am a child of both my mother and father

Then why to lame a single counter part for the birth of a girl child?
